Came here due to the high reviews. The staff are all extremely welcoming and polite. The restaurant is kept in a very clean manner and it has fans and AC. Comfortable seats on the big chairs. The biryani was delicious and a good portion size so we had to tapau leftovers. The mutton was more tender and flavourful than the beef. The garlic naan was nice. Interesting texture, the base was crispy almost like it was cooked in a pizza oven. Fresh fruit smoothies. The price is acceptable for an are like Batu ferringhi.

I thought it is tourist trap, but oh my the food is really good, I ordered butter chicken with Biryani rice, fragrance bismati rice with spice, the butter chicken pair so well with the rice. I also ordered palak paneer, it was nice too. Shop bit far from beach and have no view tho.

My visit to Master Biryani was unforgettable. I went in with high expectations, and I’m happy to say they delivered on all fronts — flavor, service, and ambiance. We ordered a mix of dishes to try a bit of everything. The Grill Fish came first and set the tone for the rest of the evening. The smoky flavor combined with a light char made it taste absolutely fresh and delicious. The Chicken Biryani was served in a generous portion, and the moment it arrived, the aroma alone was enough to make our mouths water. The chicken was soft and cooked with bone for extra flavor, and the rice was layered beautifully with saffron and spice. But the dish that stole the spotlight for me was the Chicken Tikka Masala. Creamy, rich, and deeply satisfying, it had a wonderful balance of tang and spice. You can tell it’s made from scratch — no shortcuts here. If you're in Batu Ferringhi and want authentic, flavorful South Asian cuisine, Master Biryani is where you need to go. It’s more than a meal — it’s an experience.

The prices are incredibly affordable considering the exceptional taste and authenticity of the food. The service is fast, and the staff are incredibly friendly. While it doenst look like much if you come for lunch on weekday because it can be empty, the food is good and deserve their 4.9 ⭐with over 1000 reviews. Let’s keep in mind it is Pakistani food. So their biryani is a little different than Indian biryanis. Just because it’s different doent mean its not good. This is my note for the few bad reviews. We had lamb biryani and lamb shank biryani. Both superb. Grilled fish was nicely spiced. Mandi chicken was also good. Garlic naan also superb. Palak paneer and bindi masala all pretty good. Babaganoush is very different from middle east/Mediterranean. This is more chopped than paste but i liked it. Kids enjoyed pizza and pasta but i am a bit picky and tranditionalist with those so i didnt taste them. Atmosphere is very beach shack like. Fits the location so close to the beach. Dont expect a fancy place. But service and food were too notch. It is pricey though. 7 adults and 4 kids rm500 with drinks.
